HTC Announces Smart
Posted by admin in AT&T, DEVICES, HTC, Mobile news on January 8, 2010
Although perhaps just a teeny tiny bit overshadowed by their recent release of the Nexus One, HTC has announced their first Brew handset, called the Smart. Complete with the Sense user interface found on Android and Windows Mobile, a 3 megapixel camera, 2.8” QVGA display, and 3.5mm headphone jack, the Smart is a modest package, but could do well to bring a smartphone-esque experience to those traditionally stuck in features phones due to price. No Wi-Fi, but that should help keep the Smart super-cheap. Worried this will be a sad excuse for a wannabe smartphone? Before you start speculating that this might be AT&T’s upcoming mystery Brew handset, the Smart is slated initially for Asia and Europe in the spring.
