LG GW990
Posted by admin in DEVICES, LG, Mobile news on January 8, 2010

You’ll know this device as the 4.8-inch revolutionary intent on making us fall madly in love with MIDs all over again (or should that be for the first time?). The Moorestown-powered GW990 from LG has finally become official and we have to say it is exactly the huge slab you might imagine it to be. In terms of specs, it comes with 16GB of built in flash memory and 512MB RAM, and 720p output is possible if the 1020 x 480 screen resolution isn’t enough for you. The GW300 is LG’s latest social networking phone which is aimed squarely at the Facebook crowd. The GW300’s wide candybar form incorporates a full Qwerty keypad and a 2.4-inch landscape screen. This should allow for a more natural Facebook experience as well as speedier typing than if you were using an alphanumeric pad or a touchscreen. LG GW620: Android invasion

2009 will be known as the year the robots finally took over. Last weekend saw the Isle of Wight taken over by people dressed in acres of silver material at Bestival, District 9 is a box office hit, and even our own Andrew Lim has been assimilated into the cyber-horde.
