The first Samsung Android Phone running Android 2.1, which also happens to be the first Samsung Android Phone for the home market of South Korea, has just been announced. Mobile phone maker Motorola is already known to plan on coming to the US market with a second Android-powered mobile phone, following the Motorola Cliq, which will soon come to T-Mobile and is already available for purchase in Europe as Motorola Dext, and now we learn that the handset might also come to the old continent in the near future. The device, dubbed Motorola Sholes (or Droid), has just made a short pit stop at FCC, bearing GSM connectivity.
Samsung Behold II Google Android Phone: Quick specs and details

T-Mobile has now introduced their 4th Android smartphone to their line up, the Samsung Behold II which has an expected launch later this year although the actual date and pricing has yet to be announced reports Cnet.
Much like Motorola and HTC, Samsung has placed their own mark on the Android platform with their next generation TouchWiz interface that enables the handset to be customised with 3 home screens with various shortcuts and widgets.
Spec wise the Samsung Behold II packs a 3.2 inch AMOLED touch screen, 5 megapixel camera, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, GPS, Android OS with support for Google services and Exchange ActiveSync, and microSD expansion for up to 16GB.
Motorola Dext: Android to invade Milton Keynes tomorrow

Reports have come in of an Android invasion due to hit the streets of Milton Keynes tomorrow afternoon. The Android-based Motorola Dext, will be touching down at the opening of the new Orange multimedia store at 3pm tomorrow. From then on the Android horde will disperse, with the Dext going on sale in Orange stores across the UK on the 7th, followed up by a nationwide raid on Phones4U stores on the 8th.
Adobe Flash 10.1 coming to a smartphone near you, unless it’s an iPhone

Adobe has been working to bring full Flash support to smartphones since last year, and it looks like things are finally coming to a head. Adobe has announced that its Adobe Flash 10.1 platform will soon be ready to stream video and interactive online content to a smartphone near you! Unless, that is, the smartphone sitting next to you happens to be an iPhone.
Truphone for Android reaches version 2.0

Truphone has recently unveiled a brand new version of its multi-network IM and VoIP application for the Android platform. The single most important change in Truphone for Android v2.0 is completely reworked user interface which makes the app easier to use. In addition, the code is tweaked (or completely changed – we’re not sure), resulting in faster and more responsive experience.
Truphone, however, remains the same at its core, providing users with the ability to make free or cheap phone calls (Google Talk and Skype are supported), as well as chat with their buddies from multiple IM networks — including Skype, Google Talk, MSN Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger, AIM and Twitter.

It’s not that easy being green and a robot. In an attempt to sell more Android phones T-Mobile recently announced its first pay as you go Android phone, made by Huawei — the company behind most of those 3G Internet dongles.
Samsung Galaxy i7500: Finally out on O2

You can start breathing again. O2 has finally announced that the Galaxy i7500 is available to buy. The Samsung Galaxy has some pretty nifty little surprises tucked away in its slimline frame: Google’s Android operating system, a 3.2″ AMOLED touchscreen display, a 5-megapixel camera and 8GB of internal memory, among other things.
